CCS is a subsidy provided by Centrelink to assist with childcare costs, thereby reducing the out-of-pocket expenses for families. The amount of subsidy you receive depends on factors such as your income, the type of care your child attends, and the hours of care required.

Here is the update information from the Department of Education:

Child Care Subsidy is increasing from July 2024, which means child care will be cheaper for most families. It also means some families previously not eligible for Child Care Subsidy will now get it. This change will provide more support for more families across Australia.
