Welcome to My School Child Care & Kindergarten in Slade Point, Mackay. We are dedicated to providing high-quality care and education to children from 6 weeks to school age. We understand that enrolling your child in a child care centre is a big decision, and we feel honored that you have chosen us to be a part of your child’s early years.
Our purpose-built centres are designed with a focus on safety and child-friendly spaces. We have architecturally designed playgrounds and outdoor areas that provide a stimulating and safe environment for children to learn and play. Our sandpits are regularly maintained to ensure cleanliness and safety, and all play areas have adequate shade. We also offer a variety of toys and equipment that are rotated according to the child’s interests.
At My School Child Care & Kindergarten – Slade Point, we understand the importance of nutrition and the role it plays in a child’s growth and development. Our on-site cook prepares healthy and balanced meals using fresh market ingredients, which are included in your fees. We take pride in creating a pleasant and social environment for children during meal times, and our educators generally sit with children to encourage conversation and good table manners. We value input from parents on our seasonal menu, and we take into consideration any dietary requirements or allergies.
We offer an approved Kindergarten Program that operates 5 days a week. Our dedicated team of educators is committed to supporting children as they learn and grow through our tailored learning programs. We work closely with families to ensure that their children are comfortable and settled as they learn and play. We understand that each child has unique needs, and we strive to provide a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes their development.

We understand that parents have busy schedules, which is why our Centres are open from 6:30am to 6:00pm Monday to Friday. Our qualified and dedicated team of educators is committed to providing quality care and early childhood education that meets the needs of each child and family.
